One of his notable achievements includes a heart transplant on a 23-year-old lady, who had been suffering from restrictive cardiomyopathy for nine years. The donor's heart was retrieved in just 27 minutes and 56 seconds from a 58-year-old donor, and then the heart was successfully transplanted.

The Patient recovered well after surgery which highlights the success of heart transplantations even with a high death rate from cardiovascular disease in India.
