Dr. Vedant Kabra heads the surgical oncology department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram.

He completed his surgical oncology fellowship at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and the National Cancer Centre in Singapore.

With over 12,000 cancer operations under his belt, Dr. Kabra is an expert in a wide range of complicated onco-surgical treatments, like breast cancer and reconstructive surgery, Gastro intestinal and Gynecologic cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, Skin, Soft tissues, Bones, oncoplasty etc.

He has won several honors for his work in academic and has served as faculty at both national and international conferences.

He is a respected medical community member and has earned membership in the Indian Medical Association, the Indian Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Indian Society of Oncology.

Professional Work Experience

• At the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram, he oversees both the Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgery departments.
• He led the Surgical Oncology department of Manipal Hospitals in Delhi during his career.
• From 2007 until 2013, he worked as a senior consultant in surgical oncology and robotic surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospitals in Delhi.
• During 2005 and 2006, he worked as a Clinical Associate and Fellow in the Department of Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgery at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore.
• At Bombay Hospital in Indore, he served as a consultant in the fields of surgical oncology and robotic surgery.
