Dr. Tushar Aeron is a surgical gastroenterologist who specializes in minimally invasive surgery for cancer of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, and rectum.

He has performed more than 1200 surgeries so far, including thoracoscopic esophageal surgery and pancreatobiliary surgery.

He was also instrumental in establishing a cancer surgery department at a leading hospital in New Delhi.

He was an Assistant Professor at Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital. He has done Fellowship in the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Surgeons a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery.
