About Doctor

Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is a renowned specialist in gastrointestinal cancer, hepatopancreatic biliary malignancy, and peritoneal surface cancer. He holds the degree of Master of Surgery (MCh) (HIPEC).

He attended the renowned Pt. B.D. Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, India, where he earned his Master of Science in General Surgery. He received his education in surgical oncology from some of the best hospitals and schools in India, including Dr.B.R.A.IRCH at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and the Gujarat Cancer Research Institute in Ahmedabad. He completed fellowships with Prof. Marcus Buechler in Heidelberg (HPB oncology), Dr. T.Subramaneshwar Rao at the Indo-American Cancer Institute in Hyderabad (both in GI oncology), and others to pursue his interests in these areas (MIS).

He received a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship from the European Society for the Study of the Obstructive Angiology (ESSO) and a Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery from the European Society for the Study of the Obstructive Ang (FMAS).

Dr. Tapan has presented papers at domestic and international conferences, and his work has appeared in several prestigious journals.
