Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a renowned cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with over 29 years of experience. 

He has successfully performed more than 10,000 cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, including 3,000 cardiac procedures at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

His areas of expertise include double and triple valve repairs, beating heart bypass surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, and endovascular repairs. 

He is highly skilled in complex vascular procedures involving the carotid arteries, lower limb vessels, and aorta.

Dr. Srivastava is a specialist in beating heart surgery, with over 98% of his Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgeries performed on the beating heart.

At AIIMS, Dr. Srivastava played a lead role in the advancement of heart transplant surgery in India, assisting in the country's first heart transplant and the successive 10 transplants.

One of his notable achievements includes successfully performing bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, possibly the oldest person to undergo such a procedure.
