• In 2017, he presented the best paper at the annual conference of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society and was awarded the AC Agrawal Trophy.
• He is known as the man who led the nationwide poll of Indian ophthalmologists to learn more about how often youngsters need to wear corrective lenses (2017-18).
• He is an international member of the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and a Life Member of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society.
