His educational qualifications encompass an MBBS from Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, an MS in General Surgery from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G. R. University, Tamil Nadu, a DNB in General Surgery from National Board of Examination, Delhi, an MCh in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from Stanley Medical College & Hospital, Chennai and a DNB from Plastic Surgery from National Board of Examination, India.
His areas of specialization include Onco Reconstruction, Hand Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery, Trauma Reconstruction, Microsurgery, Breast Reconstruction, Diabetic Foot Management, and Lymphedema Surgery.
He is also the founding trustee of Selva Sakthi Medical Trust through which he executes his vision of providing free surgery and treatment to the underprivileged and deserving in the remote areas of the state.
Dr. Seetha Raman is an active member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Indian Medical Association, Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, and Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
