Dr. Sachin Kandhari is a highly experienced neurosurgeon with over 21 years of expertise in treating brain and spine problems.

He started the Epidural Stimulation Treatment in India is one of the largest programs in the world to help paraplegic patients regain movement.

He is well-known for using advanced, minimally invasive techniques for spine surgeries, functional neurosurgery, and neuromodulation therapies.

Dr. Kandhari successfully introduced the Cyberdyne Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) at IBS Hospital, marking the beginning of Cybernics Treatment in South Asia.

He performs complex surgeries such as minimally invasive spine surgery, micro-neurosurgery, stereotactic brain surgery, spinal instrumentation, endoscopic neurosurgery, and neurovascular surgery.

Apart from this, he launched a new treatment for Bladder and Bowel control using the Finetech-Brindley Sacral Neuromodulation technique, especially for people with complete spinal cord injuries.

Additionally, he leads High Cervical Stimulation programs for patients in vegetative states and Cortical Stimulation to help those with paralysis, and works with UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) to improve spinal cord injury treatments globally.

He is very passionate about helping people in wheelchairs. Since he started his career as a doctor, he has dreamed of helping these patients stand and walk again, and he has made that dream come true for many patients.

• Dr. Sachin Kandhari led India's first study showing that Epidural Spinal Stimulation can help patients move and regain body functions even after complete paralysis.
• He successfully used Epidural Electrical Spinal Cord Stimulation at the T2-T5 levels of the spine to improve breathing in patients with complete spinal cord injuries.
• Dr. Kandhari also used Transcutaneous Spinal Neuromodulation to help children with cerebral palsy by reorganizing their neural networks, which improved their motor control.
