Her educational background includes an MBBS from Jammu Medical College, Jammu, an MD in  Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Government Medical College, Jammu, and a Diploma in Advanced Endoscopic Gynae Surgery from Giessen School of Endoscopic Surgery, Germany.

Her areas of specialization encompass Colposcopy, Diagnostic Hysteroscopy, Endometrial Ablation, 

Female Sterilization, Hysterectomy, and Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery.

Dr. Sabhyata Gupta is the first gynecologist in India to perform robotic gynecological surgery for cancerous and benign (non-cancerous) gynecological conditions. 

She is a prominent member of the Indian Medical Association, Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists, Indian Menopause Society, International Gynaecological Cancer Society, and European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, among others.
