His clinical expertise spans hepatobiliary surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, weight loss and obesity-related bariatric surgery, extraperitoneal repair of inguinal hernia, and thoracoscopy-assisted surgical procedures for benign thoracic conditions.

Dr. Khullar is actively involved in organizing Live Workshops and Conferences to train students in Laparoscopic Surgery in India and abroad, reflecting his strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.

He is a distinguished guest lecturer at national and international conferences, speaking on topics like bariatric surgery, metabolic surgery, and hernia surgery.

Dr. Khullar currently serves as the chairperson for the Accredited Faculty of the National Board of Examination for Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery.

Furthermore, he is a faculty member at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education in New Delhi and CEMAST in Mumbai.

Dr. Khullar graduated from AFMC, Pune University, in 1980 with an MBBS degree and earned his MS in General Surgery from PGI, Chandigarh, in 1984.
