Dr. Ashok Seth is a highly respected Cardiologist in India, known globally for his significant contributions to interventional cardiology.
Dr. Ashok Seth has led the field of Interventional Cardiology for the past 32 years, making significant contributions to its development, scientific progress, and education, as well as pioneering several angioplasty procedures for India and the Asia Pacific.
Doctorates have been bestowed upon Dr. Ashok Seth by six major national universities: BHU, AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Amity, Shiv Nadar, and Teerthankar Mahavir University.
He was appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Cardiology at J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, and the National Board of Examinations.
He is the founder/director of five major national and international angioplasty teaching courses: India Live, India Valves, CHIP-CTO India, AICT-Asia PCR, and the Imaging & Physiology Council of India.
He is also the Associate Director of TCT Scientific Sessions (USA) and a member of the Euro PCR Program Committee.
Dr. Ashok Seth has been invited to lecture at over 450 national and international meetings, as well as to teach complex angioplasty techniques via Live Demonstration at over 100 national and international meetings around the world, including the prestigious TCT (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics) in the United States, Euro PCR in Paris, and Singapore Live in Singapore.
He has over 350 papers in peer-reviewed Indian and international medical journals, chapters in 30 books on cardiology, and has been the Editor of three volumes.
He is a well-known educator who has trained over 500 cardiologists from India and internationally in sophisticated angioplasty procedures.
