Dr. Arun Prasad has extensive training in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, polyps, and hernias of all types. Colon polyps, GERD, achalasia, a hiatus hernia, and gastrointestinal (GI) cancer are all examples. • Dr. Arun Prasad, who has performed more than 7,000 laparoscopic surgeries, is widely regarded as one of the best surgeons in the world. He has been operating for 29 years and performing Laparoscopic surgery for 35. His alma mater, the esteemed Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, is where he earned his medical degree. In 1988, he earned his master's degree in surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Then he went to the United Kingdom to complete his training in gastrointestinal (GI) surgery.
• It is widely acknowledged in prestigious medical journals that Dr. Prasad performed the first Laparoscopic operation on a Gall Bladder fistula with the large intestine. In addition, he was the first person ever to use a thoracoscope to remove a pulmonary hydatid cyst.
• Dr. Arun Prasad has extensive experience with complex and advanced laparoscopic operations for a wide range of abdominal and chest conditions gained throughout his career.
• In 1994, he performed one of the earliest series demonstrating the viability and safety of same-day discharge after Laparoscopic gall bladder surgery.
