Dr Anant Kumar is an acclaimed Kidney Transplant Surgeon/Urologist with a wealth of experience of more than 35 years.

He has carried out more than 500 robotic procedures, over 3500 kidney transplants, and has performed over 2200 laparoscopic donor nephrectomies.

His area of expertise lies in Kidney Transplantation and Renovascular Hypertension, Robotic and Laparoscopic Urology, Stricture Urethra, Uro - Oncology and Laser Prostate Surgery.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, an MS in General Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, an MCh in Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, and a DNB in Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery from National Board of Examination.

He has published more than 180 papers in National and International journals and has written several book chapters and review articles.

He is an esteemed member of the American Urological Association, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the International Transplant Society, the International Society of Nephrology, the European Association of Urology, Asian Society of Transplantation and Association of Surgeons of India, to name a few.

Dr. Anant Kumar was honored with the Hewett Gold Medal, the K.L. Gold Medal, and the Selby Gold Medal.
