Dr. Aditya Pradhan is a Urologist and kidney transplant surgeon, he has been practicing for over 28 years in this field.

Uro-Onco, or the treatment of prostate/urinary bladder and kidney cancers, is one of his specialties, and he is also an expert in all kinds of transplants, including cadaver, paired kidney, and ABO incompatible ones. 

He is well-known for his contributions to the fields of urology (oncology), kidney transplantation, and robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgery.  

He helped the Tanzanian government establish a kidney transplant program in Dar es Salaam. 

His education began at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, where he earned his MBBS and MS (Gen Surgery), and ended at the Army Hospital in New Delhi, where he earned his DNB in urology.

Dr. Pradhan has published over 18 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Attachments include prostatectomy specialists Drs. Patrick Walsh and Arthur Burnett at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and robotic prostatectomy specialist Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari at New York's Weil Cornell Medical Center.

He is also involved with the Society of Interventional Urologists and the International Association for Endourology.

• In 1995, he was given the Central Army Commander's Commendation Card for participating in two major operations that resulted in heavy casualties.

• He was awarded the Christian Medical College Ludhiana Prize. 
• For establishing the Renal Transplant Program center and performing 20 successful renal transplants in 2006-07, he was presented with a commendation card from the Chief of Army Staff.
